Stuart hall developed a theory that states that media texts are encoded and decoded. the way that this happens is that the producer encodes the messages and values into their media which then the media is decoded by the audience. this relates to media text because it explains how media is consumed by the audience and how its made to reach the audience. the theory also becomes apparent when when media has a complex narrative structure not dealing with newer modern themes in society. this theory shows how the producer send out the media to its audience and how the audience receives it. the producer or the creator of the content is encoded for the audience to receive it and later decode it and analyze it like. many people that enjoy these analyze them to further understand them and see the what techniques the producers use to make these and the ways that they used things like body language and cameras angles or shots to show emotion.
