 How does the five basic principles of layout and composition help to elevate design? How will you include these principles of layout and composition in your sketches for your magazine spread?

The five basic principles o a layout and composition help to elevate design by each having a purpose and making the content easier to read and understand. A well designed layout should be easily understood at a glance. Proximity is used to group all the things that are related to each other and separates things that are different or do not belong. Giving things space or white space is a important  in a good layout it gives things its own space so its easier to read. aliment helps things be organized and evenly spaced out. contrast is when two things are different. contrast is really useful for getting peoples attention or to cause emphasis on something important. contrast can be used in text fonts, colors and sizes. hierarchy bring attention to thing that you want the reader to see or notice first. you can use different fonts or sizes to get peoples attention. Repetition  can make things look more put together using the same font or color pallet can make the power point or document tie together. I will include these techniques in my sketches for my magazine spread. i will use proximity to keep things organized and grouped white space to keep things separated so they have their own space, aliment so everything is aligned, contrast to bring attention so certain things and repetition so everything is tied together. having a good layout is very important because it can keep things organized and it can be easier to read.
