Why did you select this idea for the magazine? What are some similar references you've used that helped you influence your layout and design? Include images of those references. I selected this idea for my magazine because animal extinction is a very serious problem. Many people ignore this issue because they feel like they cant do anything about it since they are young or just don't know how. Do the game "Minecraft" took initiative and challenged people to complete challenges in game and as a result of the players beating the challenge Minecraft would donate money to help endangered animals. and they also teamed up with organizations to not only teach people but make them feel like they are making a change. They have helped animals like pandas, bees, marine life and helped restore coral reefs. How did you respond to the feedback from your initial proposal? What will you change in your second round of sketches that are due soon? I responded to my feedback by changing the things that were advised for my to change, like the title, and image placement. In my next round of sketches I will change the placement of my images and title. I will also change the place many of other things like test because I want my magazine to all fit together or feel correlated. Instead of having white space for the title I will have the title be part of the image and instead of the images being on the side of the page i will have them at the top on the page and they will be correlated. So I will make multiple changes to my magazine to make it better overall and easier to read.

How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

My product engages with audiences by informing them about how video games are helping endangered animals. This audience could be any one, from someone interested in endangered animals to someone who plays the game that this magazine is about which is "Minecraft. Both audiences could learn something form this magazine whether its about endangered animals or the game and how its helping. it would be distributed by posting it on social media or creating a website or blog like this one. This could help reach a larger audience since more than one group of people will be interested in reading it whether its "gamers" or just an average person who wants to learn more about endangered animals.
